Job summary

Theorem Design Group is seeking a transportation stormwater engineer to advance their career in an open, transparent, and collaborative environment in Colorado. You will contribute to diverse transportation projects, from local to interstate, with mentoring and exposure to clients and business practices beyond design delivery.

You will work on hydrologic analyses, drainage and water quality design, floodplain analysis, and design reports, with opportunities to lead design elements and coordinate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in transportation related stormwater design engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD and other design software used in transportation and stormwater design.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, Adobe and related data/report tools.
• Willingness to work remotely or in hybrid Colorado environment.

Responsibilities

• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
• Drainage and water quality design (permanent and temporary).
• Scour analysis for bridges and culverts.
• Floodplain analysis.
• Site grading.
• Preparation of plans, specifications, and design reports.
• Participation in quality control to maintain high design standards.
• Take ownership of design elements or task areas; coordinate with clients and subconsultants.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Communicate progress and collaborate to keep projects on track.
