Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company in Colorado is seeking a Transportation Drainage Project Engineer to lead hydraulic and hydrology analyses for a wide range of transportation projects. You will design open and closed drainage systems, perform hydrologic analyses, prepare drainage reports, and coordinate plan production with civil, transportation, and structural teams.

Based in Denver or Johnstown with a hybrid schedule, you’ll mentor others, manage project scopes and schedules, and contribute to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• 8+ years of transportation drainage experience preferred.
• Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) License required (or obtain within 6 months of employment).
• Experience managing projects, teams and delivering projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and hydrology analyses and design for transportation projects.
• Prepare drainage reports per client and industry standards.
• Assist with plan production for drainage design and floodplain studies.
• Coordinate resources, monitor project progress, and meet milestones.
• Lead project pursuits and contribute to Colorado division growth.
