Job summary

Consor seeks an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation drainage design projects, providing advanced technical support in stormwater management, hydraulic analysis, and conveyance systems. You’ll mentor junior designers and collaborate with project engineers to deliver accurate, constructible drainage solutions.

You will prepare drainage design plans, perform hydraulic calculations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience required.
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform hydraulic/hydrologic calculations and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate drainage design activities among multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Assist project engineers with quality control reviews and drainage-related deliverables.
