Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
4–10 years' experience in stormwater design.
Proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, etc.).
Colorado PE license or licensure via reciprocity.
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency; MicroStation/ORD a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

Design stormwater improvements including streams, culverts, detention, water quality features.
Design other public infrastructure with a focus on water resources.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, floodplain studies, and permitting.
Assist with environmental permitting and regulatory coordination.
Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D; create reports and specs.
Provide construction engineering support during project delivery.
Coordinate with PMs, engineers, technicians, and staff.
Support PMs with client relations and subconsultant management.
Assist PMs with project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
