Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to support transportation safety management within the TAS division.

You will coordinate with the Director of Safety & Compliance, lead audits, incident investigations, and training to foster a culture of safety across TAS sites. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, liaison with vendors, and rapid response to incidents, including fatigue and security events, with travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Safety Management, Logistics, or related field.
• OSHA certifications (COSS/COSM) a plus.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of transportation safety management or related experience.
• Experience liaising with OSHA, Workers' Compensation carriers, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and workplace safety (OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, etc.).
• Liaison with outside vendors and stakeholders to assure operational safety compliance.
• Assist with incident management, including reporting, investigation, documentation, root cause analysis, corrective action, and training.
• Represent TAS safety management in cross-functional safety inspections at client and TAS sites.
• Collaborate with training and operations staff for remediation activities (Collisions, RREs, Fatigue).
• Own quality assurance of safety escalation processes and reporting—accuracy, regulatory compliance, timely resolution.
