Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to support and guide the safety culture across its Autonomous Vehicle Division. You will oversee safety compliance, train TAS staff, coordinate incident processes, and liaise with external vendors to ensure safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk assessment, and ability to work in a dynamic environment across international partners. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related field (Safety/Logistics)
• OSHA certifications a plus (COSS/COSM)
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications a plus
• Meets driver requirements including driving record and background checks
• Minimum of 3 years of transportation management or safety/security management experience
• First Responder/public safety experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and implement Safety Management Systems (SMS) scalable across platforms
• Design and lead safety training programs for frontline and management staff
• Lead content creation to update safety/compliance policies
• Research local regulations across countries to meet standards
• Coordinate with operations and training teams for compliance
• Conduct onsite safety reviews for depot, office and public infrastructure
• Standardize safety policies between TAS US and international partners
• Ensure OSHA/state safety compliance in transportation/workplace safety
• Liaise with vendors for safety initiatives and TAS compliance
• Assist incident management including reporting, investigation and training
• Represent TAS safety in cross-functional inspections
• Remediate safety issues with training and operations staff
• Own safety escalation processes and reporting
