Job summary

Region VII Area Agency on Aging is seeking a Program Manager to oversee transportation coordination for program participants, including scheduling rides, dispatch, and driver supervision. The role involves managing CHW Care Attendant/Driver staff and ensuring safe transportation to healthcare appointments.

The position requires coordinating schedules, maintaining vehicle fleet, and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and preferred one year driving experience.
• Strong navigation skills and ability to use navigation apps.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in scheduling/dispatch for an organization.
• Self-starter with initiative, detail-oriented, analytical and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation for program participants to and from healthcare appointments.
• Schedule transportation services, allocate drivers, and plan routes.
• Maintain safe and efficient use of program vehicles and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure staff transport participants safely, assist boarding/alighting as needed.
• Maintain transportation records and reporting data as required.
