Job summary

America West Transportation LLC seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead the wheelchair transport team, overseeing routing, staffing, and safety compliance for PACE participants. The role requires coordinating with dispatch, center staff, and leadership to deliver dignified, on-time service.

You will work closely with on-site drivers, ensure accurate participant records, and participate in care planning meetings to align transportation with care plans and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or related human services industry.
• Minimum 1 year experience with the elderly.
• 3+ years in transportation, dispatch, and logistics.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Knowledge of transportation scheduling systems, HIPAA regulations, ADA standards.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff development background.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Driver workforce; manage recruitment and performance.
• Oversee daily routing, vehicle assignment, and workload distribution.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure schedule accuracy and route execution.
• Participate in PACE meetings and collaborate with center-based teams.
• Ensure compliance with PACE, CMS, HIPAA and KPI policies.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, safety documentation, and logs.
• Support on-call rotation and 24/7 escalation access.
