Job summary

America West Transportation seeks a Transportation Supervisor in California to lead the wheelchair transport team, oversee daily routes, and ensure safe, compliant service for PACE participants. You will supervise drivers, collaborate with dispatch, and support quality care planning and reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, 3+ years in transportation/dispatch, and knowledge of HIPAA and ADA standards. On-site work with potential for after-hours duties and DOT considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license or CDL.
• CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Ability to learn dispatching and transportation software such as OCS, MS Teams, and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Driver workforce with accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for transport staff.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure daily scheduling and route execution.
• Attend center meetings and provide transportation input for care planning.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and safety records and conduct training as needed.
• Oversee compliance with PACE, CMS, HIPAA, and internal KPI policy requirements.
