Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr Coordinator, Transportation to support payroll and backhaul functions while optimizing transportation and logistics for efficiency. The role requires coordinating with drivers, sales reps and customers, and maintaining payroll accuracy.

You will work in an office environment with exposure to warehouse conditions and assist in training junior clerical teammates, leveraging Excel and logistics systems to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence required.
• Experience in warehouse payroll and accounting is expected.
• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist transportation payroll and backhaul functions; support logistics processes.
• Answer calls and resolve driver, sales rep, and customer issues; share route updates.
• Use Excel and payroll systems to create, update, and manage weekly payroll.
• Process damages and shorts with vendor/driver communication and documentation.
• Support training and development of junior clerical teammates.
