Job summary
US Foods in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Sr Coordinator, Transportation to support payroll, logistics, and backhaul functions. This onsite role focuses on optimizing transportation processes to drive efficiency and accurate weekly payroll using systems like Excel, Omnitracs, Tandem, and Kronos.
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The base pay starts at $25/hour based on experience, with additional factors by location.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of warehouse payroll / accounting experience (required).
- Prior logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse experience required.
- Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in math, analytics, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process transportation payroll and related backhaul tasks.
- Resolve driver, sales rep, and customer issues; communicate route updates.
- Utilize systems (Excel, Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos) to manage weekly payroll.
- Support training and development of junior clerical teammates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
