Job summary

US Foods in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Senior Transportation Coordinator to support transportation and logistics functions from a busy office. You will handle backhaul scheduling, communications with drivers, and data-driven reporting using Excel and logistics software.

The role requires three years in warehouse/transport logistics, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive benefits and pay.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
Prior logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse experience required.
Excellent communication both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Answer all incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative and customer issues as needed.
Communicate with drivers any updates to their routes.
Create, update, and communicate reports for transportation functioning (attendance, DVIRs, backhaul spreadsheets, dispatch).
Complete damages/shorts paperwork and notify vendors/drivers for resolution.
Support in training junior clerical teammates.
Coordinate backhaul logistics, scheduling, and service updates.
Research backhaul opportunities to maximize efficiency.
