US Foods in New Orleans seeks a Manager of Transportation to lead a safety-conscious team and drive efficient outbound shipments. You will oversee drivers and transportation staff, ensuring compliant operations and cost-effective practices across the department.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in transportation or warehouse distribution, and a focus on people, service, and safety. DOT familiarity and driving experience are a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep drivers, customers, and the public injury-free.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching and policy training.
• Monitor performance with Senior Transportation Managers and close any gaps with action plans.
• Foster upward communication and motivate the team to meet department goals.
• Supervise drivers and clerical staff; drive engagement and uphold US Foods values.
• Ensure DOT compliance and accurate, cost-effective outbound shipments to customers and DCs.
