US Foods is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead a department focused on people, safety, service and cost. You will guide drivers and transportation staff to ensure safe, accurate, and timely outbound shipments to customers and distribution centers.
Ideal candidates have at least three years in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution, strong leadership, and knowledge of DOT requirements. Travel up to 10% with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.
Formación
- Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
- Experience overseeing a workforce required.
- Familiarity with DOT requirements and safety regulations.
Responsabilidades
- Lead with a safety mindset to create a safety‑first culture in Transportation.
- Oversee and develop drivers and transportation staff through coaching and training.
- Manage performance and address gaps with Sr. Transportation Managers.
- Direct and supervise work and productivity within Transportation; manage staffing and discipline.
- Ensure on-time outbound shipments and compliance with DOT regulations.
