Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Market Leader/Senior Project Manager- Transportation to drive growth and strategic direction across the Mountain West and Desert Southwest regions.

The role focuses on leading high-profile projects, shaping market strategy, and building durable client relationships to enable Ulteig's national Transportation ambitions. You will develop regional market insights, oversee business development, and collaborate with CTLs and technical teams to win and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, with a PE a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and/or consulting in the transportation industry required.
• Experience in transportation planning, engineering, design, consulting, construction, and/or project management techniques and philosophies; direct expertise in core capabilities preferred.
• Deep understanding of Mountain West and/or Desert Southwest transportation market; existing relationships strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to create and build a pipeline of opportunities and close high-value business.
• CRM software experience with D365 CRM, Salesforce, and Power BI is desired.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mountain West/Desert Southwest market in service to Ulteig's national Transportation strategy.
• Develop a deep command of regional market dynamics and client needs.
• Lead high-profile projects in the region with target billability.
• Communicate with excellence across proposals, emails, and presentations.
• Build consensus and lead with influence across client teams and CTLs.
• Identify opportunities and support delivery of resulting work.
