Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Market Leader/Senior Project Manager- Transportation to drive growth in the Mountain West and Desert Southwest, reporting to the Transportation Market Director.

This role blends strategic leadership with high‑impact project oversight and a focus on building Ulteig's competitive position. You will own the market, develop regional insights, lead key projects, manage client relationships, and coordinate with CTLs and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, with a PE a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and/or consulting in the transportation industry.
• Experience in transportation planning, engineering, design, consulting, construction, and/or project management techniques and philosophies.
• Deep understanding of the Mountain West and/or Desert Southwest market, with existing relationships strongly preferred.
• CRM experience with D365, Salesforce, and Power BI is desired.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mountain West/Desert Southwest market in service to Ulteig's national Transportation strategy.
• Develop, share, and leverage regional market insights and client needs.
• Lead high-profile projects in the region with an emphasis on strategic growth and client satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with proposals, emails, and presentations.
• Provide oversight and support to CTLs, PMs, and technical teams on client relationships and BD responsibilities.
