J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in Lockbourne, OH is seeking a Transportation Manager II to oversee direct driver management and ensure safe, timely freight movement. The role covers load assignment, scheduling across day/night/weekend shifts, and compliance with company and DOT regulations.

You will build strong driver relationships, manage payroll and reporting, and coordinate with customers to resolve issues while maintaining safety culture and operational efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety teams to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train and orient drivers and staff, including customer systems.
• Analyze fleet operations and profitability; report on KPIs and financials for customers.
• Manage yard, equipment checks, maintenance scheduling, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with drivers, customers, and staff to resolve service issues and scheduling conflicts.
