J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Manager II in Ohio to supervise midsize driver fleets and ensure safe, on-time freight movements.

The role requires effective communication, driver training, and strong operational oversight across day, night, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include optimizing routing, maintaining safety standards, managing payroll and reporting, and collaborating with customers to resolve issues.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years in transportation/logistics or equivalent.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain relationships with drivers and safety to reduce turnover.
• Fill in for absent personnel and optimize fleet operations.
• Analyze fleet profitability and report KPIs to customers.
• Plan loads, routes, and monitor freight to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate maintenance and preventative services for equipment.
