Qualifications

• 2-3 years in transportation/logistics or related fields; shifts incl. nights/weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and maintain accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics-related systems.
• Ability to travel to account and customer locations as required.
• Ability to handle high-pressure, dynamic work environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety teams.
• Fill in for absent personnel and optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train and orient drivers and staff; assist with customer systems.
• Analyze fleet operations, present KPIs, and provide financial reporting.
• Manage yard, equipment maintenance, and scheduling with maintenance teams.
• Plan loads, routes, and monitor freight to ensure on-time service; resolve issues.
