The candidate will lead driver training, scheduling across shifts, and performance reporting. Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills are essential to optimize profitability and service levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of transportation/logistics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety to minimize turnover.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects in fleet optimization.
• Train and orient drivers and staff on internal and customer systems.
• Analyze fleet operations and profitability; present reporting and KPIs.
• Plan loads, route and monitor freight to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventative services and repairs.
• Enforce DOT compliance and company safety policies.
• Handle payroll, driver counseling, invoicing, and exception management.
