US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead a team of CDL-A Driver professionals out of the Maryland domicile. This role emphasizes safety, cost control, and high-quality service to customers while ensuring compliant, efficient daily outbound shipments from distribution centers.

You will coach drivers, monitor DOT compliance, and partner with senior leaders to optimize operations and workforce performance in a dynamic, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations for drivers, customers, and the public.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates via coaching and training on policy and procedures.
• Review performance with senior managers and create improvement plans where needed.
• Foster upward communication and motivate staff to meet department goals.
