The role involves hands-on leadership, hiring, scheduling, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic food distribution environment with early morning hours and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution required.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required.
• Experience as a driver a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first transportation culture and ensure injury-free operations.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching and training.
• Schedule shifts, manage DOT compliance, and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Build high-performing teams and monitor performance toward department goals.
