Smart Foodservice Stores is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead the Transportation department and ensure safe, efficient outbound shipments from multiple domiciles. You will manage 30 drivers across three Maryland locations and partner with senior leaders to drive cost-effective operations.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, regulatory adherence, and team development, with shifts from 4 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. A strong background in transportation leadership is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations for associates, customers, and the public.
• Oversee and develop drivers and transportation staff through coaching and policy training.
• Coach performance with senior managers and create improvement plans.
• Drive associate engagement, retention, and a culture that reflects company values.
• Schedule shifts and manage DOT compliance and regulatory standards.
