Job summary

NFI is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Illinois to direct Dedicated Fleet operations and support the Project Manager. The role involves load planning, scheduling, dispatch, and daily data entry in TMW, with a focus on accurate invoicing and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience using TMW and MS Office is strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask, with occasional extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive relations with all drivers.
• Communicates service issues to internal and external parties.
• Performs load planning, driver scheduling and dispatching.
• Inputs data into NFI's order-management system (TMW).
• Coordinates with invoicing to ensure timely weekly customer invoices.
• Ensures daily and weekly tasks are completed accurately.
• Provides weekly KPI/performance reports.
• Coordinates daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Collaborates with safety on DriveCam, HOS and compliance.
• Assists Project Manager with safety, security and labor policies.
• Provides coverage across departments during vacations/holidays.
• Manages and maintains driver payroll and expense reports.
