Job summary

US Foods in Portland, OR, seeks a Coordinator, Transportation to support transportation and logistics operations with clerical tasks and backhaul assistance. Schedule: Mon–Fri 7:00am–3:30pm.

You will work with drivers, sales reps, and vendors, using Excel and transportation software to generate reports and schedule backhauls. Minimum two years warehouse admin experience, strong communication and attention to detail, and familiarity with Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, or similar systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities as assigned.
• Communicate route updates to drivers and resolve driver/customer issues.
• Create and maintain reports (attendance, DVIRs, backhaul spreadsheets, dispatch, logs).
• Support backhaul scheduling, paperwork, and vendor communications.
