Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support backhauls and daily routing from our Woodburn, OR facility. You will handle driver and customer communications, prepare reports in Excel and Omnitracs, and assist with scheduling and paperwork to keep transportation operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong organizational skills, reliable teamwork, and the ability to resolve issues with vendors, drivers, and internal partners.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.

Responsibilities

Answer all incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative and customer issues.
Communicate route updates to drivers.
Create and update reports using Excel and other software.
Assist in damages and shorts resolution with vendors and drivers.
Schedule backhaul pickups and coordinate logistics.
Complete related paperwork and report backhaul information.
Support other duties as assigned by management.
