Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support dispatch, backhaul, and logistics operations. The role focuses on clerical tasks, reporting, and coordinating with drivers, vendors, and sales teams in a office setting.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of warehouse administrative experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and logistics software. On-site work in California is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
• Strong communication, telephone, math, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and resolve driver, sales, and customer issues.
• Create and update reports using Excel and logistics software.
• Assist in damages and shorts process with vendors and drivers.
• Schedule backhaul pickups and coordinate daily dispatch.
• Communicate backhaul and logistics information to teams.
