Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Operations Coordinator to serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments. You will process incoming orders, respond to inquiries, and ensure data is accurate to support production and warehouse operations.

The role requires strong communication, mathematical and organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Office-based with occasional production area exposure; one year of production/warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year production and/or warehouse experience, preferably in a food environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
• Respond to general inquiries and telephone calls.
• Take detailed messages and refer problems for escalation as needed.
• Verify information for market compliance and procedures.
• Collect and input data to support tracking production and warehouse performance.
• Prepare recurring internal reports and maintain files and records.
• Assist in cross-functional activities and support department goals.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
