Job summary

HDR seeks a Transportation Data Steward embedded in the Transportation Business Group to define how data is structured, governed, and reused across projects and domains. This leadership role coordinates SMEs and technical authorities to enable consistent data practices and informed decision-making.

The role emphasizes collaboration, change management, and alignment with HDR’s data strategy to empower delivery teams and improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Resources engineering industry.
Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
Ability to work cooperatively with other leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.

Responsibilities

Establish network of SME expertise to define technical standards and align with enterprise data practices.
Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key terms supporting models, reporting, automation, and AI.
Promote data governance and responsible use of data across the Transportation BG.
Coordinate with Technology Director to align data workflows with Transportation BG strategy.
Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools.
