Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to define and align data practices across the Transportation Business Group. This leadership role focuses on ensuring data is defined, shared, and reused to enable better project delivery and analytics across HDR's transportation initiatives.

Embedded in the Transportation BG, the role coordinates SME expertise, drives data standards, and partners with Enterprise Data teams.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Establish SME network to define technical standards across Transportation BG and ensure alignment to data practices.
Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key terms to support models, reporting, automation and AI use cases.
Use technical network to build alignment and consensus around data processes, priority and usage.
Promote consistent, responsible use of data including access, quality, formatting and reuse.
Govern externally sourced datasets (access, approvals, inventory, storage and lifecycle).
Promote data fluency across the Transportation BG and coordinate with Technology Director.
