Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to drive clarity and consistency in data definitions, sharing, and reuse across the Transportation Business Group. This leadership role coordinates subject matter experts and technical authorities to enable better decisions and project delivery.

Embedded in HDR's Transportation BG, the role focuses on defining data practices, extending influence on how data supports our business, and empowering teams to reuse data across projects and time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Resources engineering industry.
• Experience leading data-centric solutions and services across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical standards across the Transportation Business Group and ensure alignment with enterprise data practices.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key engineering and technical terms.
• Promote data governance and reuse across projects and teams.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards and tools.
