Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward embedded in the Transportation Business Group to define how data is captured, structured, governed, and reused across projects. This leadership role focuses on enabling delivery teams and driving data reuse across HDR’s Transportation initiatives.

As part of technology leadership, you will coordinate with SMEs and Tech Directors to align data workflows with strategy, advocate for data fluency, and guide adoption of data standards across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing, developing and leading teams in change management and working with data.
• Fifteen years of overall experience providing diverse data-centric solutions and services to an organization and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate SME expertise across Transportation BG to define technical standards and ensure alignment to data practices.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key terms supporting structured data models and AI use cases.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data including access and data quality.
