Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations. You will leverage Lean tools, data analytics, and Power BI to drive root-cause analysis and sustainment with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes Transportation experience, Power BI dashboard maintenance, Excel proficiency, and interaction with operations management. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain industry.
• Transportation experience including Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL.
• Advanced MS Office including Access, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
• Data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX).
• Experience with Lean tools and CI concepts (PDCA, VSM, Kaizen, 5S).
• Core engineering and data analysis skills (slotting, labor planning, layouts, metrics).
• Knowledge of Dedicated Services and Managed Transportation; familiarity with JDA, Appian, OTMs and BI tools.

Aufgaben

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps processes and identifies gaps.
• Manages CI projects and supports go-live and steady-state certifications.
• Develops competency in engineering methods, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Coach employees in CI and Lean principles; lead Kaizen events and value stream mapping.
• Provide regular data reports and recommendations to improve site objectives.
