Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across operations. You will identify gaps, implement improvements, and lead teams using Lean tools to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

The role requires strong data analytics, process mapping, and project leadership, with experience in transportation or supply chain environments. Collaboration with management and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation or supply chain industry.
• Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and lean tools.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio.

• Collect data and perform statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Map and document existing processes to reveal gaps.
• Lead and implement CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive CI plan with measurable results.
• Drive value-stream improvements and Kaizen events; support go-live and certifications.
• Coach teams on CI and Lean principles across operations.
• Interact with operations management and customers to communicate outcomes.
• Provide regular data-driven reports to track progress against site objectives.
