Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a CI-focused engineer to apply data analytics and Lean methods across warehousing and transportation operations in Indiana.

You will drive continuous improvement through data-driven projects, Kaizen events, and process redesigns to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. The role interfaces with multiple levels of operations, supporting go-live certifications and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain with 5+ years in Warehousing, Transportation or Manufacturing.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL and data visualization.
• Strong Excel, Access and Visio skills; highly proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of CAD-based warehouse design tools and slotting methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Maps processes and leads CI initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Drives value through Lean tools, Kaizen events, and PDCA within operations.
• Supports go-live and steady-state certifications for CI projects and automation.
• Mentors teams on CI and Lean principles and sustains improvements over time.
