Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader for the Transportation Business Group focused on Alternative Delivery.

You will direct pursuit and execution of large civil infrastructure projects, drive policy-compliant approvals, and coordinate with legal, risk and client teams to secure prime contracts. You will guide regional leads, manage contracts and subcontracting, and represent HDR with industry groups to advance the firm’s AD capabilities.

Qualifications

PE license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 10 years of related engineering experience.
Experience leading large transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Drive approval processes in compliance with HDR policy and authority matrices.
Coordinate with HDR Business Group and Legal teams on contract terms.
Collaborate with Transportation Business Group leadership and Regional Leads.
Engage with clients on upcoming projects and contractor relationships.
Lead HDR leadership calls to discuss contractor relationships and terms.
Advise on commercial and technical trends in Alternative Delivery.
Foster HDR matrix collaboration across Areas, Regions and Market Sectors.
Negotiate teaming agreements and service agreements with other firms.
Engage with industry groups to elevate HDR visibility.
