Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director to lead the Transportation Business Group in pursuing and delivering large civil infrastructure projects, including design-build and P3 programs.

You will steer contract negotiations, policy compliance, and matrix-driven collaboration across HDR’s network, driving strategic growth and project success. As a leader in an employee-owned culture, you will guide multi-disciplinary teams, engage with public agencies and private clients, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
15+ years of professional engineering experience on large transportation infrastructure projects.
Professional engineering registration (PE) required.
Experience leading diverse teams and maintaining client relationships.
Ability to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy, procedure and risk framework.
Coordinate with HDR Legal and Risk Committee on contract terms.
Foster collaboration across Transportation Business Group leadership and regions.
Report on Transportation Business Group Alternative Delivery status.
Possibly serve as Principal-in-Charge for selected projects.
