Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced transplant-centered registered nurse to provide care for patients before and after solid organ transplant and cellular therapies. This is an onsite, dayshift role within the Transplant Center.

The RN will coordinate multidisciplinary care, manage medications, triage patient needs, and educate patients across the transplant continuum. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with transplant experience preferred and a BSN encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with valid state licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required prior to start date.
• Minimum 2 years in a related clinical specialty; transplant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care of transplant patients with inpatient/outpatient teams and pharmacies.
• Manage patient medications per policy and protocol.
• Triage patient issues and coordinate care as directed by providers.
• Educate patients on transplant processes and procedures.
