Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking an RN to provide nursing care for solid organ transplant and cellular therapy patients. This onsite role in Aurora features a Day shift, full-time schedule, and a pay range based on experience.

The nurse will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, manage medications, and educate patients throughout the transplant process. A current RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS/CPR certification are required, with at least two years in a related field.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Graduate from an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field; transplant coordination preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transplant patient care with inpatient and outpatient teams and pharmacies.
• Manage patient medications per policies and procedures.
• Triages patient issues and coordinates care as directed by providers or protocol.
• Educate patients about transplant care processes and procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with decisive judgment and minimal supervision.
