Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care for solid organ transplant patients and cellular therapies. This on-site role is full-time with dayshift hours in a hospital setting.

The RN will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, manage medications, triage issues, and educate patients while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Requires RN licensure and transplant coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• 2 years of experience in transplant-related field; transplant coordination preferred.
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR; valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care of transplant patients with inpatient/outpatient teams and pharmacies per regulatory guidelines.
• Manages patient medications according to policies and procedures.
• Triages patient issues and facilitates coordination of care as directed by providers or protocols.
• Educates patients along the transplant care continuum.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
