Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced leader to direct and optimize the Transmission & Substation Training and OJT programs, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency for employees, customers, and shareholders. The role requires planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising Crew Leaders, Demos and Apprentices/Helpers, and implementing company policies to meet regulatory and business objectives.

The position may require extended hours, including 24x7 coverage during storms or other energy

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of internal utility experience or equivalent external industry experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred; supervisory assessment may be required for external/internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees engaged in training and OJT activities to ensure high levels of customer service and reliability.
• Promote a high-performance culture; provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
• Facilitate open communication and assess effectiveness; collaborate with other departments.
• Manage union/management relationships and engage local union stewards to support the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within departmental budgets; plan resource coverage and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Manage large-scale training projects.
