Exelon is seeking an experienced Substation Engineering leader to oversee electric transmission, substation and relaying engineering and design activities. You will direct the Substation Engineering staff, ensure design standards and reliability goals, and coordinate with regulators, internal departments and external contractors.

This role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a deep understanding of regulatory issues and utility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of industry experience, including 3-5 years as a T&S supervisor/manager.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of regulatory issues.
• Proven leadership in a high-performance culture with coaching and performance management skills.
• In lieu of degree, 12-15 years relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Substation Engineering team and develop/maintain high performance culture.
• Oversee engineering and design basis for transmission and substation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide 24x7 technical support for materials, equipment, design, maintenance and construction.
• Manage budget and allocate resources to maintenance and projects.
• Engage with regulators, customers, and external vendors to align standards.
