Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Transmission Construction and Maintenance leader to oversee a large field organization across its service territory. You will coordinate strategic programs, manage budgets, and drive safety and reliability in transmission assets with a focus on high performance and community collaboration.

The role requires extensive T&D leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience, including 3–5 years in a T&D supervisory/managerial role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of T&D operating, maintenance, and construction work practices and regulatory issues.
• Strong communication, consensus-building, trust establishment, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic and labor initiatives to ensure service reliability and safety goals.
• Manage departmental budget; balance cost control with appropriate capital and maintenance investments.
• Foster a high-performance culture and learning organization; promote diversity and lead change initiatives.
• Provide leadership to and development of the management team; conduct performance reviews and provide timely feedback.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other departments, Exelon, and local communities; ensure effective internal controls.
