WSP Global Inc. in Texas is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team in Houston or Austin.
The role provides technical leadership for the planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects, ensuring quality and safety. Responsibilities include project scheduling, client coordination, multidisciplinary teamwork, and staff mentorship, with hands-on experience in PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, and construction support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related discipline; equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of post-education engineering and civil design experience.
- Engineering license required; familiarity with NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
- Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
Responsabilités
- Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV.
- Create and maintain a project schedule and lead project meetings with clearly assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings as needed.
- Mentor staff and support department initiatives and resource planning.
