Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to oversee high voltage and EHV transmission line projects, manage scope, schedule, budget and client relationships, and market Power Delivery services. Based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth with remote work options, travel to client sites will be required.

The role demands 12+ years in power delivery project management, strong leadership, and expertise in contract, risk, and PM processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within Power & Energy.
12+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams for high voltage/EHV projects.
Experience with Contract Management, EV/Change/Risk/Schedule/Financial management.
Travel willingness and ability to work across multiple Texas locations and remotely.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV Transmission Line projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
Engage project stakeholders at all levels and report on project progress.
Lead pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions and risk mitigation.
Participate in contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
Ensure QA/QC adherence and appropriate technical reviews by staff.
Coordinate resources and subcontracting to meet schedules.
Maintain regular client communications with monthly status updates.
Document lessons-learned and project closeout activities.
