WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements, including remote work or from one of our South-Central region offices.

Preferred locations include Ft Worth, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Baton Rouge, Albuquerque, OK. You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765 kV, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 7-10 years’ experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
• Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent English communication, both written and oral.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with clients and staff.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• Mentor staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
