Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage and EHV transmission line projects in the Power & Energy Management Team. The role focuses on technical leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and client relationship development across the South and Southwest regions, with on-site options in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field in Power & Energy.
• 12+ years post-education project management experience in Power Delivery/Utility.
• 5+ years leading engineering/construction teams for high/extra high voltage projects.
• Experience with contract management, risk, schedule and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV transmission line projects, including budgets, schedules and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders, report progress, and manage client relationships.
• Lead pursuit activities, go/no-go decisions, and risk mitigation reviews.
• Contribute to contract negotiations and client presentations as needed.
• Oversee QA/QC and ensure documentation aligns with PMP and QP requirements.
• Guide staff, ensure timely resources and subcontracting, and support project closeout.
