Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the Grid business unit invites an Associate Intern for summer 2027 to support transmission and distribution engineering projects. You will work on a project team under senior engineers, applying civil, mechanical or electrical engineering concepts.

The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two remote days, and requires bilingual Spanish and English. Strong organizational skills and proactive, independent work are expected while you develop practical design and

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a BS or MS in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with a strong academic background.
• Candidates from related engineering degrees may be considered with relevant coursework.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, and write).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities and progress for reporting.
• Prepare documents and specifications for procurement of major equipment and installation services.
