Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Associate Intern to support our Grid engineering team during a summer start. You will assist senior engineers on transmission and distribution projects, preparing calculations, specifications, and designs while gaining exposure to project reporting and procurement documentation.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a BS or MS in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong academics.
• Candidates from other engineering disciplines may be considered with relevant coursework.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of engineering calculations, specs, and designs.
• Work on project reporting tasks such as tracking progress and data.
• Contribute to power design documents and procurement specs.
