Think Power Solutions in Roanoke, VA seeks a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on electric transmission projects, from upgrades to substations.

You will interpret engineering drawings, ensure compliance with owner standards, mentor junior staff, and lead problem-solving to keep projects on track while maintaining high safety and workmanship. Strong communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of transmission line and substation work experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects
• Monitor safe completion in line with design specs and safety standards
• Manage projects from substation upgrades to new substations
• Identify issues that could impact timelines, quality or safety
• Resolve issues to maintain schedules and standards
• Apply knowledge of line, substation, and civil construction requirements
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application in construction
• Ensure compliance with owner construction standards and safety terms
• Perform duties independently while demonstrating leadership
• Mentor and train lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives
